Smithport Lake Description

Located in northwest Louisiana 4 miles east of the hamlet of Carmel and 10 miles east of Mansfield. It is approximately 1,410 acres in size and is 2 miles wide and 2 miles long. It is a wooded lake and not for recreational boating. It is a very scenic lake. There is only one good access on highway LA 509.
